My name is Scott McPherson and I am a qualified Celebrant Training Academy Scotland independent celebrant. I am available for weddings, renewing your vows, namings and funeral services throughout Scotland, the UK and the world. Alongside celebrancy, I work within the food industry.

One of the many attractions of an independent celebrant from a clients perspective, is that you can tailor a service exactly to your wishes, which may include religious, or non religious aspects, or a mixture of both.

I have gathered extensive experience of public speaking for over two decades now. Starting during my studies, as chairperson of my college at Lancaster University. And then further enhancing my communication skills through a twenty year career in the food industry, working for some of the best known brands in the UK and beyond.

Throughout my life, I have always enjoyed challenging myself personally and I certainly did that when I took my first steps into performing stand up comedy, which I have done since 2017! I have performed at the UK’s largest and most well known arts/comedy festivals, including Edinburgh and Brighton. In addition, I have ran my own comedy nights, which further expanded my ability to expect anything to happen and to be able to adapt accordingly.
